Catherine Jane Ford was born on the 5th of December, 1969. She is an English comedian and actress. She has been honored with numerous awards for her performance on the BBC sketch comedy series The Catherine Tate Show (2004-2007), as well as being nominated for an International Emmy Award and seven BAFTAs. Tate played Donna Noble in Doctor Who's Christmas special 2006. She was then back in her role as the Tenth Doctor's frequent companion on the fourth season. [2] Tate was the protagonist of Joanie Taylor ("Nan"), a comedy character she played on The Catherine Tate Show (2009-2015). She also played in The Nan Movie (2022). She first appeared as Nellie Bertram, a recurring role on The Office's U.S. version, in the year 2011. She continued to be an ongoing character until the conclusion of the show. [3] She played Miss Sarah Postern (2013-2014), and Magica de Spell (2017-2021) in the BBC One sitcom Big School. In 2022, Tate starred as six characters in the Netflix comedy series, Hard Cell, which she also wrote and directed.
